Mysterious Pixies

Posted in articles on June 26, 2007 by finifenmaa

This article is dedicated to my special friend and fellow blogger Pixsie.

Don’t you love little pixies with wings, spreading dust around?

While collecting material to write this article, I’ve come across rather surprising information regarding these pretty creatures.

When I think of pixies the first thing that I picture in my mind’s eye is Tinkerbelle from Peter Pan, sitting on a little toadstool, getting so jealous of Wendy. And now that I’ve read a little about pixies, I’ve come to know that that’s actually in their blood. Pixies are said to be very territorial, and would do anything in their power to save their territory or love. They are said to often have conflicts with fairies, who are bigger than them. The legend remains, that they refused to accept Christianity, and were shrunk in size until they finally did. But even then, they weren’t good enough to be taken through into heaven, and not taken to hell either, so were abandoned on earth FOREVER.They are sneaky & quick and love to play pranks on people, stealing horses and ponies is among their favorites.

But in contradiction to this, I’ve also come across some people who say, they are just fragile, pretty little creatures sucking nectar and spreading pixie dust throughout their days. They are said to be allergic to silver, it burns their skin and/or kills if it’s gotten into their blood 🙂

We all miss you, angel…

People come into our lives for a reason. They make u smile, they make u laugh, and when they leave, they make u cry. Recently an angel flew into our lives. And she brought us all nothing but happiness… a lovely sister to us, a caring daughter to my parents, and the perfect partner for my brother. Everyone who met her would say she is the sweetest kindest being they ever met. She surely was. Yesterday, less than a month after she came into our lives, she has gone… she left us a beautiful memory, and flew to the land where true angels belong.

I open my eyes to see the glare,
The sun is up for a brand new day,
I sit straight and wonder if it was a nightmare
Please, please let yesterday not be true, I pray.

The pain in my head rushes back,
The memories of yesterday returns,
The day was all dull and black,
The light that shines has all burnt.

Im glad we were able to spend,
Together the last few days of your life,
You are an extraordinary friend,
And to my brother, a flawless wife.

I wish eternal happiness for you,
May God give your soul peace

don’t u love being craaaazy????

Sometimes, I get labelled as ‘freak’, because I do things as directed by instant impulses.  By ‘things’ I mean like chopping/ coloring my hair, piercings you know what I mean right? Now I got something better to do, hheheh!!! Which is do the same stuff as I did to myself to BOB. But not to worry, I wouldn’t cut a single hair unless it’s utterly necessary (like when he starts school). I took him to the saloon today, and highlighted his hair… hehe!! He was being a real sport throughout until it came to the washing part. He loves his new locks… wanna see him? Below are some pics of him after the new hairdo!

 Look at my darling….

That’s Bob with his cousin brothers Uzain and Usaid.

That’s him with his cousin Uzain (a.k.a Beybe) who is so damned jealous of bob’s hair hehe!! And also begs me to adopt him as his mom wouldn’t let him grow his hair long or colour it!! Hehe!! 😀

After a long, hard day of tiring work, I always prefer to take a nice long warm shower, slip into something comfortable and just channel surf, surf the web, indulge in a good book, or magazine with a nice tall glass of water with lots of ice.

And bob, he loves a shower, slip into comfy pajamas, and lay down with a nice warm bottle of milk watching his favorite fasylive show. Too bad he’s going to miss fasylive performance tomorrow night!
